Carers Trust to submit evidence to adult social care inquiry
A new inquiry launched during Carers Week will look at the support local authorities are providing for unpaid carers.
The Communities and Local Government Committee will be looking at the financial sustainability of local authority social care and will be inviting care providers, local authorities and Government ministers to give evidence at public sessions.
It also expects to hear from organisations representing carers and care users themselves and is inviting them to submit written evidence by Friday, August 19.
